Jenny's comment that the CIO to whom the library reports thought it would be a good idea for the library to get involved with IPods and then told her to, more or less, make it happen, was very telling. It turned out that, at least for now, there is very little compatible, appropriate content to load. This is what happens when administrators without a library background tell librarians what to do! On the plus side, Jenny learned a lot about IPods for future reference and better implementation of the program down the road...
